CommunityDNS helps their customers monitor their complete DNS Network.
CommunityDNS is pleased to announce a new free monitoring service to customers.
Following customer feedback, CommunityDNS' service has proven to be considered one of the most reliable and robust DNS services available and as part of our on-going service improvement, customers have asked us to provide additional monitoring and alert service of their complete TLD name server suite.
Whilst this customer request was initially considered rather unusual, in that it is not common for a service provider to monitor servers outside of their own network; following extensive testing and customer input, the new service is launched.
CommunityDNS has now established a global network of Nagios 24x7x365 monitoring servers to check the availability of all of the DNS servers used by a TLD registry customer.
Consequently, CommunityDNS' free 24x7 Name Server checking service ensures that all authoritative name servers of a customer's TLD are responding to DNS queries from our three office locations, namely UK, USA and Japan.
In the event that a server failure is identified from any of our Nagios server locations, an alert email will be sent to the customer's specified alert email address.
This new service compliments CommunityDNS' existing suite of monitoring services which are designed to support, inform and protect customer's provision of service to the Internet community.
Access to this new service is via customer's standard control and administration panel provided by CommunityDNS.
